The French Property Playbook (the "Service") is published and operated by Rivière Advisory ("we", "us"), a business registered in France under SIRET 10271587700019, registered office 21 Rue de la Faisanderie, 75016 Paris, France. Contact: contact@riviereadvisory.com. The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. Payments are processed by our reseller, Paddle (see §5).
The Service is a set of self-paced digital education products — online courses, video lessons, downloadable spreadsheet calculators and workbooks — about buying and owning property in France under current French law. On purchase you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the materials for your own learning, with lifetime access to the version you purchased and any updates we choose to release to that tier.
All content, tools, text, and materials are owned by Rivière Advisory and protected by copyright. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, sub-license, publish, or share your access or the materials with any third party. Your login and downloads are for your personal use only.
The Service is educational content only. It is not financial, tax, legal, investment, or immigration advice, and it does not create any advisory, fiduciary, or professional-client relationship. Every France-specific figure is dated and may change; you must verify your own situation with a qualified notaire, avocat, fiscaliste, courtier, or other licensed professional before acting. We do not guarantee any financial return, rental yield, mortgage approval, visa or residency outcome, or tax result. You remain solely responsible for your decisions.
Prices are shown on the site and are payable in full at checkout. Our order processing and payment is handled by Paddle.com Market Ltd and its group companies ("Paddle"), which acts as the Merchant of Record / authorised reseller for our products. This means Paddle is the seller of record, collects payment, and handles applicable VAT/sales tax. Paddle's own buyer terms also apply to the transaction. Prices may change, but changes do not affect orders already placed.
Your refund rights, our voluntary money-back guarantee, and the statutory right of withdrawal for digital content are set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms limits your mandatory rights as a consumer under French and EU law. If you have a complaint, please first contact us at contact@riviereadvisory.com so we can try to resolve it directly.
In accordance with art. L612-1 of the Code de la consommation, if a dispute remains unresolved you may refer it free of charge to our consumer mediator (médiateur de la consommation): CM2C — 49 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris — cm2c.net/declarer-un-litige.php · litiges@cm2c.net. Consumers resident in the EU may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, and without excluding any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded (including our liability to consumers), the Service is provided "as is", and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make based on the materials. Our total liability in connection with the Service is limited to the amount you paid for it.
These Terms are governed by French law. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence continue to apply where they give you stronger protection.
