Refunds and cancellation.

Our 15-day course guarantee

Request a refund of your initial Homebuyer or Investor course purchase within 15 calendar days after purchase and we will arrange a full refund. No lesson-completion, worksheet, PDF-download-count or justification requirement applies. Email hello@frenchpropertyplaybook.com. This voluntary guarantee is additional to statutory rights; it does not automatically apply to separately purchased membership or renewal payments.

How to request help

Provide the purchase email and order reference if available. A missing reference does not remove a statutory right. You may also use the support route on your Paddle receipt or Paddle buyer support. A clear withdrawal statement needs no special form or reason where the law provides an unconditional right.

Statutory withdrawal and defects

EU consumers generally have 14 calendar days from conclusion of a service or digital-content distance contract to withdraw, subject to statutory conditions and exceptions. Notify the seller before this period expires by an unequivocal statement; no reason or particular form is required. For digital content without a physical medium, immediate delivery affects withdrawal rights only where the legally required prior express consent, acknowledgement and contract confirmation are satisfied. Browsing, account creation and sign-in do not constitute such consent under this policy. Withdrawal rights for ongoing membership are assessed separately from delivered digital content. Where the law allows it and you expressly requested service to begin during the withdrawal period, a proportionate amount for service already supplied may be payable; this is separate from the conditions for loss of the digital-content withdrawal right. Our unconditional 15-day initial-course guarantee remains available as stated above. Mandatory remedies for faulty or misdescribed content and services, applicable local rights and protections under the Paddle terms remain available.

Cancel renewal

Cancellation stops future renewal; it is different from a refund request. You ordinarily retain membership until the end of the paid period. The new Investor offer includes the first year and then renews at €300 per year including applicable tax unless cancelled. Cancel via Manage billing or the Paddle customer portal. Cancelling renewal keeps the included year and purchased course access. Earlier non-renewing purchases are not converted into subscriptions.

After a refund

A full course refund ends access arising from that purchase. A full initial Investor refund also ends its included membership and requires the attached automatic renewal to be stopped. Refunding a later renewal affects that membership period, not the purchased course. Refunding separate membership does not itself refund the course. Statutory remedies take precedence; contact support if billing or access is incorrect. Renewal payments are not universally non-refundable.

Refund processing

Paddle processes transaction refunds. Where statutory withdrawal applies, reimbursement is due without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the seller is informed of your decision, using the original means of payment unless you expressly agree otherwise without fees. Bank posting time is separate. We do not require waiver of a lawful payment dispute as a condition of support.

Exercising statutory withdrawal

For an eligible transaction, use the withdrawal option in the Paddle customer portal reached from your purchase confirmation or Paddle buyer support. Withdrawal is distinct from cancelling a future renewal. You may instead send an unequivocal declaration to the Paddle seller identified on your receipt. The following model identifies Paddle.com Market Limited for transactions where it is the seller, including the ordinary French/rest-of-world Paddle route. If your receipt identifies a different Paddle seller, use that seller’s details. Your order reference, product name and purchase email help locate the order but are not mandatory conditions of a statutory right.

The model is optional for exercising your right. The 15-day course guarantee and any more favourable prior promises remain separate from statutory withdrawal.
